  • Hopefully they'll go

Had someone stop by to look at my E & LG. He seemed interested, but.....
He said he'd have to check with his wife, she'd have to see them running.
I haven't uncovered them, much less start them in over a year. And $2,000 for both bikes and all the parts, it's not worth my time to fool with them.
Had a cousin ask how much for just the E. I told him $2,500 for either one, but $2,000 for both.
Hopefully a local XSive will read this and come give these bikes the love and attention they deserve (and I no longer have time for).

    Hi Pat,
distance and poverty kills it me but others who may be interested could be confused too.
I'm sure you mean $2,000 each if you buy both and $2,500 for either if you only buy one but some hopeful soul could just see that initial $2,000 for both bikes and all the parts sentence and misconstrue it.

These bikes must be in really good shape. Hope you sell them soon. Are they both in really good shape, got any pics? Im not interested in buying but would like to see them and am sure others who may be interested would too.

I just found your other thread and those are some nice bikes. I love the black one but would love to have a dresser too. Good luck man.

No Fred, he is saying $2000 for the whole lot. He has posted about this in the past and just wants them gone in one shot.

                  Hi Jeff,
rent a truck, borrow the money and go!
Quick, before he comes to his senses.
Alas I'm too old, too poor and too frightened of my wife to do it,
                  what's your excuse?

Two of the three are my excuses too. Since I am married to a lawyer, that gives one of the two away.

                      I Tried

                      Hi Pat,

I tried my best to get out there. But something came up that put the brakes on for me. It is called a wedding and it is next month. So there went any $ for motorcycles. Really wanted to do the deal with you, but just not in the cards for me right now. So, good luck with the sale.

                        They're still sitting there.
Both need carb clean/rebuild, battery, and tires. The usual stuff.
I don't think this guy would be the right owner. Seems he would take them to a shop for any work, find out no one eill work on them, then be pis...... angry.

You nailed it that I don't want just one bike sitting there
