82 XJ1100 Jets

I have found a bunch of links to show how to choose how many jet sizes to increase depending on what you have changed but can someone tell me the stock sizes of everything on the carb on the XJ?
I have pod filters and just headers and its running, its loud, and its awesome! However it wont run for long if I dont fix the issue. Only ran it for about 2 minutes, plugs are WHITE. Any other advice other than jetting? If I put on some small mufflers to give it some back pressure would that solve all my issues? Thanks again for the the help!

47.5 pilot, 112.5 main are the stock sizes, carbs are clean and no blocked passages? Yes it would help to have back pressure in the exhaust for sure.

I have seen many folks on here try to run these engines on open headers. Very few if any ever succeeded in getting the engine to run worth a crap. I would strongly suggest adding mufflers for some back pressure.

I've got pod filters and ended up going up just one main jet size to 115, then adjusted my idle mixture. To do this on the XJ, you'll have to remove the little brass plugs that cover the mixture screws.

As others have suggested, with some back pressure, you'll see a huge increase in low end torque, and you won't be made to ride in the back all the time when riding with others. Loud pipes don't save lives... they make the general public want to take yours.
