    Vacuum hse

Hey guys, I joined this forum yesterday and have seen immediate results. My 79 xs1100sf was loosing power on throttle release and unable to pick it up. Had to drop a gear or two and then apply heavy throttle to get it back but as soon as I released same problem. Also excessive knocking in lower left engine. Read your post and discovered my vacuum hose was in boot vs carb. Changed them out and problem solved. This bike had been stored for past half dozen years and carbs last worked on by certified technician. Maybe he should subscribe to this forum. The bike s older than he is. Again thanks. Note, I'm an original owner.

There is nothing as good as knowing your own bike.
