    Well, I couldn't wait for the 1N5408's to come in the mail so I went and for some other ones at radio shack. Diodes solved the issues and everything works now!

    Once I get the other diodes in the mail and find some solid state relays (any suggestions on those?) I will replace the diodes and wire it up so the side markers flash as well.

    Things are coming together.

      I read this thread when it was current and did not raise my eyebrows. But, reading it again tonight was like "huh?" Lol. I guess I'll just go LED's in the pilot box. My lights work great, and all four turn signals stay on as running lights. I don't want to mess with that.
