    Interesting. Just as the title says.
    1979 XS1100F
    2H9 Mod, Truck-Lite LED Headlight, TECHNA-FIT S/S Brake Lines, Rear Air Shocks, TKAT Fork Brace, Dyna DC-I Coils, TC Fuse Block, Barnett HD Clutch Springs, Superbike Handlebars, V-Star 650 ACCT, NGK Irridium Plugs, OEM Exhaust.       OTOH my XS11 needs 2 keys. Coincidentally both locks (Special bike with Standard tank) have the same 4-digit key code number but the key cross-sections are mirror-images of each other.
      Your circumstance does avoid some of the key duplication.
      I reckon it takes 5 keys per bike to be safe.
      On your keyring.
      In your billfold.
      Taped inside the right-hand side cover.
      In your sock drawer.
      At your mom's house.
      What with my XS11 needing 2 keys my total key count for 2 bikes would be 15.
      Lucky you only needs 6.

          Man, I only have one per bike. Gotta go get some made. Well I guess 2 per bike cause of the tank key.

            It's just irony. none of my other xs keys work.
