  • Vetter fitment

So I'm looking at buying this for my bike, maybe paint it to match, maybe not. Idk yet.

I remember correctly it's the mount that makes it fit to the bike, not the fairing.

in order to make it fit,I just need the mount for the xs1100.

    Yes?

Vetter was smart about that, just about every fairing they designed would be interchangable between bikes, just the mount is bike specific.
So, yes, you'd need a vetter (not pacifico) mount for your XS11.
Now the lowers are another story all together.

The guy wants 75$ for it and it is mint from what I can see in the photos. He can't figure out how to get it onto his bike so he's just selling it
Both hatches are there and the wiring pig tail.

I LOVE how the xs looks with the vetter and I want one bad!

Maybe since my bike is blue,I put the red vetter on it, and do some parts in white. USA USA!

You may get used to running with one, especially when the love bug season hits down there.

Before paying $75, make sure the headlight and turn signals work, may be worth a few bargaining dollars.

Otherwise, that's a pretty decent price for an unmolested Windjammer.

It looks like it used to have a Yamaha sticker on the side:

But the plate at the harness plug looks like kawasaki.

Also, see if he's got the key for that right side cover. It can be replaced with parts from home depot, but still, bargain dollars.

          Otherwise, nice find.

That is a Windjammer 5 judging by the "shroud" around the windshield, made after Vetter sold the company and before he bought it back years later. Has different lowers than other Vetters, a guide is on the Vetter site. $75.00 is an excellent price. Many options available including a windshield with 2 portholes in it (porthole vents are available vrom Vetter) and IMHO these are worth getting for the extra air flow.
