  • Carb Choke Rod

This may be a duplicate post. I tried asking from my Ipad and I don't know where it went. I am tearing my carbs down for a good cleaning. I was removing the choke rod and as it pulled out of the #1 carb, the springs and ball bearings went spilling out. I have 2 springs and 2 bearings, the rod has 3 holes. Did i miss 1. Also, the PO broke a float stud off but that will be taken care of thanks to the helpful tips found here. I also will be using pod filters and would like to know what diameter fits as well as jetting changes for this set up. Awesome site guys thank you in advance!

The choke rod has detents that the ball and spring lock into as you open and close the choke. The one spring and ball go in the hole by the carb one choke, that's the only one that actually locks in the detents. The other one goes in the hole by choke on carb four.

Now I see. As I removed the rod it dropped out of carb four 1st and I just didn't see it. Thanks!
