      TOO COOL!

      How did I miss that?

And how is a stainless line cheaper than an OE style?!

Okay, I went out to the bike with a boot lace, and measured where i would want the brake line routed.

        Came up with 24.5 inches.
This says its for the rear, but the ends rotate...so in theory this should work I hope

Or, I could go for a little extra security and get the ebay one which is 26.5 inch

Probably because the plastic protective coating cracks off in a year , line still works fine, I have a 17" one on my other bike.

I had a 1983 GL1100 and I put 24" apes on mine. All I did was find a extender with two female ends and connect my brake lines through that. It takes a little bit of time and patience but it works and the new owner loves it. Him and I talk all the time about the bike. Biggest place I bought stuff from was MotionPro cause the clutch cable was perfect and also the throttle cables fit like a charm. Just make sure you give yourself about 6" more when telling them the length you are looking for and if you can go big cause it is always nice to run them a little different.

Wow, did I just give advice? should I be doing that?

Well, I got the handlebars on.

The clutch and throttle cables worked excellent.

                Along with the brake line.

nothing else needed to be extended, only rerouted.

Lol. Well I like the look of the handlebars. Biggest part for me is just to be comfy. For some if your bigger then the stock handlebars fit OK but it all depends on your preference. I loved my ape hangers I had. I'm still trying to figure out how to post photos on here like you did of my bike

                        Make a photo bucket account.

                        Load photos onto it,

Then click the image, and Copy the IMG box contents

                        Paste it into a post.

                        BAM. Done and done.

Well I love the new posture.

But I don't like the seat at all.

I'm gonna try the stock seat, although it's falling apart, and see how I feel with it.
