    Here's one on eBay mis-listed as a '79, still fairly cheap. Not mine, just passing it along...

    I saw that too, at first glance to me it looked like a standard, but you have an eye for these things.

    When looking at ebay items, I try to do a little 'research' on the seller before I even decide on biding. This seller is an idividual (not a 'store'). He has 2 other bike items for sale too.
    Oh and for those that are local, he's in La Mesa, CA.

      Isn't this tank from an 81? I didn'think that tank was available in 1979. It has the stick on tank logo.

        Yep, that's what Steve said, that it's a venturer tank that's mis-represented.
