  • Which outlet is prime, front or back one on 80 Special?

Just changing out my octy for a simple one petcock system. Blanking off the other petcock. I've searched but can't find any topics on which outlet on the petcock is the prime one, the front or back? I want to block it off. Thanks guys.
Bone stock 1980 Special except for the exhaust and crashbars. Oh yeah, and the scabbard for the Winchester Defender.

If the petcocks are on the correct side the front nipple is the prime.

Thanks Nate, I just figured it out by blowing on the outlets. Shoulda done that first before asking.

ok but why? extra insurance against petcock blockage if you tee them together so either will feed both sides, run both if you want or one if you want
