Had to try a high speed run, 81 MNS, stock carbs, stock head pipes straight through muffs, pods, ( can't wait now for the K&N so I can try the stock air box ) 42.5 pilots at 4 turns out, 120 mains, speed 55-75. MPG. down from casual riding 25-45 at 39.42 mpg to 28.48 mpg. plugs same color.

Plugs need more miles, keep driving and check in another week. They are starting to show but dont have enough color yet IMO. Looks ok from what I can tell so far. They'll look ash white/grey when too lean...

I weigh 248lbs and my 79 1100F gives me 32-35mpg. Plugs look great and bike runs like brand new. Stock except for slip on Jardine replacement mufflers. (Which were common back in the day and maintain the crossover)
