    swapping 17 for 16 rear wheel on my 1980 special

    Hey guys I just got the 1980 standard 17 inch wheel and tomorrow I plan on putting it on my 1980 special is there anything I will encounter I should be aware of?????

    Yep, you need more than just the wheel....

    Because the 17" standard wheel has the brake rotor .3" closer to the centerline of the bike, you need the two 'standard' wheel/axle spacers and the 'standard' brake bracket. The Special parts will result in serious misalignment.
