I need help! I'm needing to replace these Phillips screws in the pics with allen head screws from partsnmore.com. The problem is, I don't know the sizes I need. Could anyone whom has replaced these before, help out? All partsnmore told me is, 6x20mm and so on. I have a 1980 xs1100G and pretty positive it's the original carbs. Any help would be deeply appreciated. Thanks. Pic are below, I need the sizes for all the Phillips head screws shown. The pic of the intake side of carbs are just for reference. Thanks

find your year/model, then your part number the yamaha part number center number will give you size and length, something like 06024 would be a 6mm x 24mm, 05018 would be 5mm x 18mmwhere are we going, and why are we in this hand basket?

Replaced them with stainless steel allen head screws. Get rid of those philips (actually they are JIS fasteners no philips) and make your life easier in the future!Nathan

It is very possible to stip-out the female threads in the carb body when using alllen-head screws, because you can easily apply too much torque (don't ask).Skids (Sid Hansen)
