Head removal

I removed the cam shafts.
I removed the 12 head nuts.
I removed the 2 nuts front and back under the head.
and the oil line. etc....

seems as though one of the head bolts is stuck by corrosion the the head.

has anyone one else had a really hard time getting the head off.?

does anyone have a suggestion for a new head gasket besides buying one for 40 bucks?

Try to reuse the old one, use some metalic paint on it before reinstalling.
Suggestion 2: Buy one for more than 40 bucks.
