does anyone know where to put the ecu?

Hello I Took the seat off my xs1100 and got a small seat. There is something under the seat looks like a ecu. Can this be moved easily? I took the airbox off so lookl ike I might have some room. How easy is to move it? and where do people usually put it?

Unless you are going to change the wire length to suit the new location then no it isn't all that easy...but possible.

It also depends on the year of your bike. If it is a early bike you have a long ways to move it. Later bike less to move.

Mine goes between the battery and the inner mudguard, but i have removed the rear indicators and it fits in position easily.
