yeah i know it would be a shame... im mean it was a shame, lol! this is literally 4 hours of work so far. I did an old cafe trick, flip the cruiser bars around and spin em down, nice clubman style bars to rock for now!

so here's some detail pics of the parts as well as what she looks like now. I also forgot to mention I have a pair of mirrors to go too. other things soon to follow haha.

Those 78s are pretty bikes. Don't sell your fenders. A couple trips in the rain and you will want them back on.

              Hi XSLuigi,
at least you didn't hardtail it.
And the no fenders thing is not a thing I'd do neither.
But it's not me who will have to hide under a bridge until the rain stops and dries off the road, is it?
However, that front fender is also a fork brace so without it your skinny undersized front fork will be even more wobblyarsed than when it left the factory.
Buy a TKAT fork brace. Best $100 you'll ever spend.

thanks fred. Yeah I planned to pick up a tkat too, already emailed them about it. So that is a must haha.

as far as the rain goes, I don't plan on driving cross country with this thing so unless I get caught in the rain around town, I should stay dry
