    Handlebar types

On my motorcycle....I have drag bars I have gathered....smacks the tank hard at full lock..

I don't know where the rise or pullback is measured...

And I would like to get out of my leaning forward go go go fast position and actually sit upright and enjoy my bucket seat....

What did they have from the factory, or what is comparable? ? ?

I've got some DT175 'bars on one of my XS's. They work well.

Goldwing bars have been used by many here. Concerning the bars against the tank, you might be able to JBWeld a nut to each side of the turn-stops. I once did that to prevent damage from an aftermarket windscreen.

I love the Dirt track style bars.
They call them a Flanders #10 bend.
The bar is wide, about 34". It gives you good leverage on the bike.
The rise is about 4 inches and the pull back is about 8 inches.

The Flanders bars are expensive, but there have been similar bends on Flea bay
and I think the XS650 site has them for about 40. The Flanders are 130.

I have used them in both Black and the Chrome.
The Chrome is the best . The black bars seem to be powder coated over the chrome and the black scratches easily.

You can tell, I like them.

        Regards, JG

Thanks for the photo! That's pretty similar for what I think I'm aiming for.

I'm curious what the other one looks like. Heh

I use the CB750 bars from Mike's too with Rox Pivot extensions.

Pics in thread above show how adjustable they are. Well worth it.

                    LTD bar

They have these LTDs from JCW I've used them on most all my XS650s and now have them on my XS1100 less than $30 + sh. These are in chrome, I painted mine black, yes the paint will scratch. I've sell the LTDs on eBay in black powder but $40 + sh. I can touch up little stuff on the painted surface or take them off a re-paint. They fit me well 5' 10"
