There's no 'spec' for voltage coming out of the stator; it's AC and will vary with RPM.
So again, make sure your seeing the right ohm readings between the white wires at both the plug behind the fuse panel and at the regulator. Too low, and the stator is shorted internally. Too high, either poor connections or the stator has been overheated. If it's not connections, the stator will need to be replaced...
That plug behind the fuse panel is famous for getting corroded and overheating/failing. You may need to replace it....Fast, Cheap, Reliable... Pick any two

Referring back to CaptonZap at post #7... Horn and blinkers were not working when the tach/fuel gauge paused working this morning. I believe it is a fuse not quite staying tight in it's holder. The rearward most fuse in the fuse block was the culprit.
Does that sound like I found the issue?Howard

As for the blinkers, they are fed off of the same fuse, through the brn/wht wire.
But according to the diagram I use, the fuse is second from the end, and the end one is either ignition or tail lights. As the man suggested, a new fuse block might be in order, or you can run a Zap fix, which I will explain in a PM, or next time I come down.
Anyway, whichever fuse it was, fix them all and call it good. CZ

As for the stator, if the guy knows what he got it off of, then it should fit.
Here is the "will fit" list
