  • Aerostitch Suit

Does anyone have one of their 1 piece suit? Want some input on their ventilation or lack of adequate venting.

    aerostich suit

one of my riding buddies and his wife has the aerostich 1 piece suits. they like them, very expensive, very hot here in Arizona and the southwest. when they ride in hot temps they buy bags of ice cubes at the 7-11 and pour the cubes down into the suits. sounds icky to me but they claim it works. the suits work well in moderate temps for them.

That's what I was afraid of great suit, BUT inadequate venting for warmer weather.
I am hunting down the Olympia Phantom (discontinued) in a small for the Mrs.

The good thing about the company is that the owner is also a rider.Maybe you can talk to him.

          riding suit

fwiw, I just bought my wife a 1 piece riding suit made by Olympia Moto Sports. found it online for $199.00 at Motorcycle Superstore. It's the Stealth One Piece Mesh Tech suit. She loves it, rode a couple of times here in Phoenix in 85-90 degree temps and she was very comfortable. the suit is very well ventilated and of extremely high quality. I was surprised at how nice this thing is for the money. the smallest size they had available was a mens medium but it fits her(and me) very well. the legs were about 4 inches too long so we had them shortened, no big deal. this is a great suit for warm temps, probably not for cold weather unless you layer under it. the mesh areas are always "open" so lots of aiflow all the time. the armor is as good as in my $400 jacket. it's not waterproof either, but we don't care. a really great bit of gear.

            compare fairly

to be fair, one fo the reasons that the price of the Aerostich suit is higher due to them paying Adult Americans to build them isntead of slave labor 12 year olds.

be that as it may, my reply to the original post wasn't intended to start a socio-political running commentary on "what's wrong with this country", but merely to provide requested input about a very viable alternative to the aerostich riding suit. regardless of where it was made or by whom, the Olympia suit is a nice one. and for someone who only rides about once a month it makes more sense than an $800 one.

Don't be overly sensitive. No one as jumping you. I was offering up additional information about the FEATURES of a given choice. One FEATURE of the Aerostich product is its country of origin. That matters to a lot of people.
