Any recommendations on carb parts sources - online or other?

Looking for needle valves, float bowl gaskets and possibly individual air filters instead of the airbox.

THe K&L kits are $20-25 and can be ordered at any bike shop. They come with new needle valves and gaskets and jets. One of the jets is the wrong size (pilot I think) and it won't idle right if you use it. There are a couple of online places mentioned here quite often that sell the stuff cheap....

There is a guy regularly on ebay that has sets of 4 kits for sale,

includes the needle, seat, air screw, gasket and jets

at least for the sf kit anyway..


run about $68 bucks a set (of 4)

Motorcyclecarbs.com is pretty good - they give you pretty much all you need for a rebuild for somewhere around $115 or $120 if I remember correctly.

They include jet needles, but not emulsion tubes.

I have met him... pretty good guy...
