I was looking at the interchange thread but couldnt find a clear answer. Will an 80-81 Special rear fender fit on a 78E?

Actually BA its the tail light mountings that are making me want the special fender. I want to go with a smaller light without having all the extra holes high up on the fender.Nate

Here is the special fender sitting on top of the E fender. You will lose the hinge and use 2 less bolts but it looks like it'll bolt right up to me.
There will be the issue of the TCI mounting though.Greg
