Ha! I want to feel bad for them but....no.

I have a nice ditch behind my place that I can back my truck right up to and drive the bike straight in.

I've had to push my 79F up my motorcycle ramps and into my pickup bed once. It was actually pretty easy because 1) I have fairly long ramps and 2) I dropped the tailgate so I could hook the ramps into the the bed of the truck.

That is still a HEAVY mother of a bike when it is being pushed! Especially being pushed UP something!

When I bought my xs I had a nice ditch to load it with but had to take my tailgate off and use it as the ramp to unload.

I had mine on my pick up at least 3 times, and everytime it's a B***h....when I bought it the brakes were seized and tires were flat It took three guys to muster it up there and we almost dropped it !!!

Funny stuff. I always use a trailer, but last year did have to ride the Connie into a 24-foot U-Haul. Used the ramp that stores under the truck bed. Was a little hairy as I had never ridden up a ramp and into a truck before, but had no problems. When I got home (had to tow a trailer with a tractor on it) I turned the bike around inside the truck and rode it back down the same ramp. I was more concerned riding down the ramp than up but had no problems.

Would like to see those guys trying to unload provided they ever did get their bikes / ATVs loaded. ATVs are not so bad, most have reverse, but unloading a bike -particularly a large cruiser - can be a real experience.
