I know I am not in the right category but I am trying to save an xs1100 motor from the scrap yard! Turned it over today and its free where it was previously believed to be stuck. Does anyone need one? I'm in Nebraska and would take $125 cash (starter, carbs not included) and I will likely leave it in the frame. I guess I could part down to heads, block, ect if needed but would rather sell intact to someone who needed it. thanks guys. nebraskajeff@gmail.com

I'd hate for it to go to waste as well, but I've got several spares already. If you do decide to scrap it, there are a few things I'd be interested in like the shims, valves, and gears... But it probably wouldn't be worth your time to get to them.
I've bought a couple motors.. one for $40 and one for $50, but I knew they were in decent shape. This one is a ??? Still.. hate to see another one scrapped.Try your hardest to be the kind of person your dog thinks you are.
You can live to be 100, as long as you give up everything that would make you want to live to be 100!

Where in NE are you located? I'm in Sioux Falls, SD... If it's not TOO far, I would be interested.1) Fire up Internet Explorer
2) http://www.yahoo.com
3) type "www.mapquest.com" into the Yahoo search page.
4) go about day as VP managing multi-million dollar financial contracts.

I'm so far away that the shipping would kill the deal.
But leave it in the frame?
That frame got a title?
Seen many a tearstained post on this list about the DMV Nazis refusing to title a bike.
Perhaps you could re-word the ad?Fred Hill, S'toon
