I grabbed a flasher from my truck (2 prong)...I have blinkers!

I will be buying a flasher and a multimeter tomorrow, lol. Thank you for all your help guys!! I'm fairly confident I will be on here many, many more times for help. It will be nice to know half the information you guys know so I can one day return the favor!

    My best,
    Lee

The 3 prong flashers will work if you run a ground wire to one of the terminals. You will lose the self cancelling feature with any flasher other than the OEM one. Do yourself a favor and spend the few extra bucks for an electronic 2 prong flasher, your signals will perform much better, JMHO

The brown/white wire on the flasher up to the turn signal switch is very dim. The other brown wire on the flasher is very bright.
Don't worry about it. If the TCI doesn't recieve a pulse signal from the pickup coils, it shuts most of the current off to the coils after about 5 seconds. CZ
