Great video. Those bolts get pretty tight just form the engine forces. Unfortunately, yours was fubar before you got to it. But it does require the right sized wrench, tapped firmly into the bolt to get it out without tearing it up like that.
I am sure you were going to anyway, but do clean up all the remnants of the old seal.Life is what happens while your planning everything else!

i cleaned the old seal chunks out and installed the new one and rode about 30 miles and she dont leak a drop. all and all it was not a difficult fix. if my bold would have came out it would have been super easy. i changed my cam chain tensioner and it sure quieted the motor noise down i didnt realize how noisy it was till now thats its quiet. now im just waiting on above 50 weather for some much needed 2 wheel thearapy.

My bike seems to be more cold blooded now after my recent upgrades. I have to stay on the choke quite a bit longer before it will idle on its own. All I did to the motor was clean the plugs, a valve cover gasket, a auto cam chain tensioner and a crank seal. Any thoughts on why?
