Looking for 0.50 over piston set. '80 XS1100LG Any suggestions where to start looking? All bores tapered .002-.0025, thinking 0.50 should clean up ok.

Get a different set of just and pistons. You will probably never find 4 .5 over pistons.Nathan

Seen the big bore kit............going 3mm seems a bit much. From 71.5 to 74.5mm would thin sleeves and skirts. Anyone try one on here? figured would be needle in hay stack to find four .5, love a challenge!"Elvira"

They are getting pretty scarce. These popped up on ebay a while back at a VERY affordable price. I'm thinking of getting one just to have around.

I have a friend that bought one for his ailing MNS and said the parts all look to be better than fair quality. He hasn't done the work yet so I can't say more than that.
If your worried about thinning tha cyl walls and overheating problems I CAN say that I know some personally with the same overbore Wiseco kits ($800) that are experincing no significant problems at all in that area.
If you worrying about ruining a set of jugs, I have 8 more sets laying on my garage floor. No worries there.
