Bias ply
Dumb question. do the 130 (& 140) tires that are bias ply have to have tubes??
For some reson, I have it in my head they don't need tubes, but that goes against what I know about other tires. we used to run bias ply's on our feed trucks and they needed tubes in the tires.
Gracias

Depends on if they are type tube or not. Make sure whatever bike they are going on has a rim suitable for tubeless. The XS has "SUITABLE FOR TUBELESS TIRE" stamped into the spoke of the wheel in question. If it doesn't say this don't use a tubeless.
The difference is in the way the bead interface of the wheel is machined. If you put a tubeless tire on a tube type rim you are taking your life in your own hands. However the inverse is not true. It is ok to put a tube and tire on a tubeless rim.
