Hey everyone, I have been busy. The first carbs that I set up the 79 Standard with were OK but when you slowed down in traffic and then gave it gas it would bog down before going well. I knew that the jets were larger than what were in my second carbs so I have put the second set on and have been dialing them in. All is good in the yard and when on the road it runs very good with no bogging down and really is doing everything well. I have a picture of the plugs after a 25 mile run and they look good, maybe #3 might be a slight lean????

The only issue that I am having now is that the idle was set at 1100 but during the ride it was around 1350 ~ 1400. I came home and checked the throttle cable and it was loose and I turned the main idle screw about 1/8 ~ 1/4 turn backwards and it is now around 1200. I turned off and pulled the plugs for the picture.

    Any ideas??

Not enough miles on those plugs to get a true reading, gonna need a hundred or two.
