  • Air Filter

i was thinking about removing my air box and installing indvidual air filters directly to my carbs but what do i do with the crank case vent tube that comes up and goes into my air box??? can i just remove and plug that tube or do i need it for venting/lubrication?? heres a ebay link of the filters.

As for the vent, just leave it open. DO NOT PLUG IT, HAS TO BREATH! You could put a small filter on it to keep critters out of your crankcase when the bike sits.

On the POD air filters, watch for the EMGO I believe it is, they have a lip on them that will partially block the openings in the inlet bell of the carb.
Life is what happens while your planning everything else!

im thinking a filter like this will work?? it has a 3/8" nipple so that should work on my vent tube

When I bought mine the PO had used an automotive valve cover breather on the crank case. They used a rubber adapter so it would fit. I can get a pick of the adapter later for you if you would like.
