No centre stand, will one shock support rear end?
My center stand is currently off the bike to be painted. I want to remove the rear shocks one at a time to service/clean them. Will one shock alone support the rear end while I clean the other shock?

Bone stock 1980 Special except for the exhaust and crashbars. Oh yeah, and the scabbard for the Winchester Defender.

yeah, when I was rebuilding mine, I even rode without one
forgot to mount it back on, but I realized that was missing because ride was a little bumpy
