+1 what TC said about the Barnett springs. BTW, if your old gasket didnt rip you can re-use it. Ive been in my clutch 2 times and have reused the same gasket each time... your call, gasket maker is cheap alternative. Just don't use too much of it because it can squish out inside the case then become lose and end up blocking an oil port...nuf said.

"What they do have is an implacable, unrelenting presence and movement that bespeaks massive power lurking behind paint and chrome. They don't wail like a screeching ninja, the don't rumble like a harley. They just growl like a spactic, stressed out badger waiting to rip your face off and eat your soul." Trainzz~RIP~

Yes TC, put Barnett clutch springs in it last time it was opened up for a clutch renewal. I will check it when it starts up, and if there is slippage, it's pretty easy to pull it off again. Going to use Grey RTV sealant again to close it up, as when I pulled it today I noticed that is waht I used last time.Bone stock 1980 Special except for the exhaust and crashbars. Oh yeah, and the scabbard for the Winchester Defender.
