Thanx for all the replies!!! Am gonna tell my mechanic tomorrow about checking the compression. I sure hope thats not what it is!!! Pretty much everything else that was mentioned has been done. The valves were shimmed about a year and a half ago, but I have put less than a 1000 miles on it since, so they should be good. I just pray it doesnt turn out to be a burned piston!!! Anything else we will eventually get it figured out. Will keep you all posted as to what happens!!! Thanx again guys for all the helpful hints!!!

You should not have to tell your mechanic about checking for compression,he should already do that.

Randy, we are always talking about cleaning the carbs more than once, also check intake rubber mounts, also like some mentioned, plug wires, coils and where the wires connect to the coils. even though diaphrams are new, if they don't have a proper seal it can cause the same problems, also push the slide up and hold your thumb over the oblong hole on the air intake side, if the slide drops quick, you don't have a good seal on the diaphrams, if it holds in the up position, you do have a good sea.
