carb issues after rebuild and pod filters

got the carbs and filters reinstalled no leaks yay! but now it wont idle under 3000 rpm always something lol ima try n get that figured out then hopefully i can get it tuned still has a high speed miss gonna change the plugs while im at it

Make sure your throttle cable isn't hanging up, probably need to throw on the gauges and do a sync.

i got the throttle figured out she runs and idles pretty good still could probaly use a sync but its gettin there. still has a high speed miss hopefully the new plugs will help with that it runs great under acceleration but as soon as i try to cruise or go light on the throttle itsounds/feels like one of the cylinders just stops firing what is the gap for these plugs

The plug gap is .028"-.032". Do you have your vacuum advance hooked up correctly, it should go to the #2 carb body, not the carb boot. Also might want to check that the vacuum advance plate is not jumping around when applying throttle. You can observe it with the left ignition cover off, there is a bearing in there that gets dry and can cause the light on the throttle symtom you are describing.

ok thanks i gapped the new plugs .o30 the old ones were horrible and none of the gaps were in spec. ill install them and check the advance line and see where its plugged in, ill check the bearing as well. just to be 100% sure
