I just opened the throttle wide open and when it started popping,I let off the throttle, and she started right up,put it on half choke and feathered it until warmed up,turned off choke, idle's at about 1050.perfect.

You'll probably find that you need to adjust it a bit after it gets fully warmed up. My idle will be anywhere from 600 to 1200 depending on how warm the engine is.

yea Greg,I like to keep my idle right around 1000-1100 rpm. Seemed to be running smoooootttthhhhh. Hope it stays that way,I've never had to touch the carbs, and I want to keep it that way for as long as possible.

When i only had 1 bike (the XS) i kept it in my Moms garage and started it up every 2 weeks no matter what season.I also rode like 6 months out of the year continuously for years.Never had a carb issue. When i got my ZRX the 1 bike had to go into my storage unit-the XS.I figured it doesn't require much to get it going when i get a day to ride.It was only recently that i had issues because of it sitting without starting and not doing much in terms of short term storage.Wont make that mistake again.
