What guage is the flexible wire on the pickups?

Thanks Steve. I have several sets of pickups at home that need repair but I found that a repair in an active section just weakens the wire and tends to not last long. I think I may have found a place to get some ultra flexible wire so I can replace the whole section that is bad.Greg

Yeah, I'll agree that patching what's there isn't a very good solution. Better to replace the whole piece...

From what I understand, the leads on a cheap Harbor Freight multimeter have the perfect wire to replace them with. $4.99 or so for the wire, and you get an extra multimeter for free!
