Got the tank rust free today with Jasco prep and prime. Measured out four and a half gallons of water and 16 ounces of prep and prime then topped off the tank to the top of the filler neck, and let it sit for a couple hours. Drained it, put in some gas to slosh around, drained it again, put the newly fixed petcocks back on, and i now have a working fuel system.
Took the bike for a 1 mile test ride and everything works really well! Now I need to do the fix on the exhaust system and get the fairing put back together so I have a headlight and turn signals.
