It looks stock to that bike, but seriously doubt if it will fit your 82 XJ11...Yamaha provides ONLINE microfiche viewing of their bikes and parts complete with photos/exploded diagrams so you can see what is stock on a particular year and model of bike....

enter year, model, find your part assembly it will tell you what other years/models used the same part, also no such thing as a 85 XJ750 it was a 700 and its seat only fit the 85-86

It is a stock seat for the 85.

The 82 XJ750 seat is completely different from the 85 XJ750 (700 for us in the US) they do not swap with out some modifications to the seat and bike.
(The same for the 82 XJ1100)

This is the seat for an 83 XJ750 (Same as an 82)
