Found tip over kill switch on my bike

I was looking at why my headlight will not light and stumbled on the tip over kill switch just behind the steering head. I didn't realize what it did until I flipped it over and tried to start the bike. Seems like an advanced feature for the bike to me...

This is a link to what I did with my tilt switch circuit. I only did this cause my tilt switch was no good.
"The Hooligan" XJ1100, Virago Gauge Pods, Screaming Eagle Mufflers, K&N Filter, hand made rear fender, side covers, and solo seat, round bar conversion, small headlight, tail light, and cat eye turn signals, chip fuses, rewired the right way.
