    i will usually cut the old tire off, if it is no good anyway. i run a razor knife around the tread essentially cutting the tire in half. then i cut the wire around the bead with snips or bolt cutters. I do this because when removing a tire, the tire irons can scratch the face of the rim. when installing a tire, the irons are inside the rim. make sense ?

      I always put tyres in front of the log burner for an hour, get it nice and hot and supple before fitting, my missus plays hell about the rubber stink in the house though
