Will seats from the other XS models(650,750,850) fit a 79 1100 F? All I have now is the huge king and queen seat and I want something more stock but there doesn't seem to be many around.

Nope.... Your choices are the seats off either a E or F model. Nothing else will fit (not even other XS11 model seats) without numerous mods. If you don't like the seat you have, you can still get reproduction stock covers and modify the foam you have. You might post it up for trade; someone might want that seat and have a good stock unit.

      Hi Bear,
like Steve sez, the seats from other bikes just won't fit.
And I'm not sanguine about you finding someone who'd want to swap for your KQ seat neither.
      My XS11SG came with a KQ-Hi-Back seat.
Had to live with that ugly thing for 2 years before Andreas found me a better one.
Took me another year to find someone that wanted the KWHB, even as a gift.
If you don't want to reshape the KQ's foam and put a Saddlemen cover over it,
find Andreas in the parts for sale forum to see if he has a seat.

This one doesn't look bad....it's not stock.

And this one would work if you moved the cdi box.

Nope, still won't fit; the seat will hit the sidecovers....

Papabear I had one of those big king/queen seats on Great Ranger.

Took it to upholsterer for top layer of new foam, and reshaped to flatter appearance to decrease the "bucket" look.

            You could get yours reworked.
