I'll take a pic of mine tomorrow so you have a clear picture of what you're looking for. I can best describe it as a round knob which pushes up a bolt with a friction pad that keeps (not so well when extended) the inserts from moving. There's also a split ring which keeps this round knob from falling out and loosing it should it back out all the way due to vibration.

It should look like this except with a key ring type keeper to keep the nut from falling off. I could get a pick of the other side which has that but it is cold, late and the bike is in the canopy. So if you want a better pic I can provide it just not this evening. The key ring type keeper goes in the hole at the end of the bolt shown in the pic.
