    Bolted cross brace yes, bolted top rail no on mine.
    80 SG
    81 SH in parts
    99 ST1100
    91 ST1100

        Just went out and checked a G, a SG, a SH, a SF and an LH. None of them have bolts in there. I would think that they are not intended to have those bolted.

            It will be a day or so till I go over to where it is stored. The weather is turning bad here, so the riding opportunities are dwindling, and the urge to exercise all the bikes is fading. Oh well, spring is coming.
