  • New XJ!!!

    Two weeks ago I traded an old riding mower and $200 cash for a 1982 Maxim that the guy stopped riding cause the front brakes were locking up.

                Yes, the PO said they started locking up after a local shop replaced them. I took them apart, found the anti-rattle tin pieces were letting the pads get stuck, so the pads stayed applied to the rotor... That was the easy part, I have had the carbs off the bike 6 times cleaning them already..lol Odometer shows 4100 miles....

                    That's cool. I have to clean my carbs, as soon as i get up the nerve to! Mine has 8000 miles, by the way... Yay for low mileage bikes, ha ha.

                      I've got a low mileage bike too.. after I rolled the odometer. Yay for bikes that get ridden, ha ha!
