    If you're going to ditch the octy, look at this: http://www.xs11.com/forum/showthread.php?t=35443. This will close off those two 'extra' outlets.

    Also be aware that there's two surfaces that need to be smooth; not only the inside of the lever, but the 'bore' in the petcock body where the lever goes in. The lever has a o-ring seal around it, and if the sealing surface is rough it will be hard to turn and prone to leaks. I clean with 0000 steel wool, and reassemble with a dab of white grease. Makes a big difference....

      yeah I noticed they were cruded up, but I didn't sand them smooth, my bad, I will give it a try as it's a pain in a neck to turn those...
