  • Fwd. Eng. Mount Bolts

I have to get rid of a really ugly 3 point engine guard. I am assuming that the bolts used to mount it at the engine frame are probably longer than OEM to accomadate the mounting brackets. Can someone tell me what will the specs. be on the OEM bolts that I will use after pulling the guard? Thanks Jon

You can use the same one, it will just stick out of the nut side a little farther.

I don't know about yours, but my 3-point guards have a piece of all-thread attached to the lowest point, instead of using a separate bolt. Though you can use the existing bolts for the other spots, you'll need an actual bolt to fill the lower engine mount hole.
