    sorry it,s been so long but we,ve been busy,

    here is an idea I,ve used to reclaim used floor space,, it,s not new but a simple way to build one in the shed

      I like it! Not a bad idea to reclaim a few square yards of storage space.
      BARE BONES CHOPPERS: If it don't make it go faster, you don't need it!

        I reckoned you must have fallen off the planet.
        Nice mezzanine but my experience says the more storage space you have the more your shed gets cluttered up with stuff you should have thrown out in the first place.
        And Kudos on the bilingualism, the glib way that those metric dimensions just roll off your tongue is a lesson to us all. Here in Canada we've been officially metric since the 1970s but we still describe things in inches.
        Then I switched to your flatbed walkaround video, very nice too.
        But the load gauge? PSI? What happened to KiloPascals?

          hi lads, Fred, I haven,t fallen off the planet, almost off a couple of other things but not the planet

          the floor is so I can get to the new shelves that will be halfway up the shed wall, full of xs11 parts,,,,,,,of course,,

          we,ve finished buying and moving into our new house, with it,s 4 bay shed that I,m setting up as a travellers workshop,, a place where a rider that lives 2500klms away can change oils or weld a cracked trailer or the such,

          plus now that these little jobs are out of the road, now there,s more time for videos

          as for kilopascals,,, does any body understand them,, it,s just one of those things, a balance between the old and the new

            yeah, I helped build the Concorde so I'm used to metric dimensioning from way back (Do you know how long the Concorde is in millimeters? I don't remember any more but it's lots.) but the SI pressure measurements not so much.
            Canada should have gone with the German system rather than the French.
            "kilograms per square centimeter" Everybody can understand that. (It's about one atmosphere.) But oh no, that won't do; every scientific measurement has to be named after somebody. Arrogant effin' frogs, WhoTF was Pascal anyway?

                sure I have. If asked, he would have agreed that the unit named after him would take a fair bit of getting used to in a practical world.
