That much oil would almost have to be rings leaking. Check your cylinder and I would get new rings, and hone the cylinders. Check first to see if you need oversized rings or stock. There have been a few sets of stock rings on ebay lately.Life is what happens while your planning everything else!

i didnt do a compressoin test. couldnt find my gage. as for the state its in i think its a good excuse to go ahead and put the big bore kit in81 MNSComment

after some work ive got the cylinders partially off. i ve run into a snag.... they only come up so far then catch. they are completly off the pistons but wont come completly off. it seems they are catching on the threads somehow. i cant see anything that should be holding them back.81 MNSComment

Probably gunk in the holes. You already soaked it in PB Blaster right? yeah after soaking it and leaving it for a few hours i finally got it off. the cylinders look good. the piston on #1 had bad blow by and 3 and 4 had a bit too81 MNSComment
