      That much oil would almost have to be rings leaking. Check your cylinder and I would get new rings, and hone the cylinders. Check first to see if you need oversized rings or stock. There have been a few sets of stock rings on ebay lately.

        i didnt do a compressoin test. couldnt find my gage. as for the state its in i think its a good excuse to go ahead and put the big bore kit in

          after some work ive got the cylinders partially off. i ve run into a snag.... they only come up so far then catch. they are completly off the pistons but wont come completly off. it seems they are catching on the threads somehow. i cant see anything that should be holding them back.

            Probably gunk in the holes. You already soaked it in PB Blaster right? Better yet, try some marvel mystery oil, I find more uses for that stuff every day.

              yeah after soaking it and leaving it for a few hours i finally got it off. the cylinders look good. the piston on #1 had bad blow by and 3 and 4 had a bit too

                How much does that big boar kit cost? That's something I'd like to do. My bike was seized so it might be an option for me soon too.
