Engine looks super Randy! Big change since the swamp picture.
I took a few shots of my 79 as it looked having sat out for 2 or more years, will try to post them once I get the photo posting thing down pat........right now I'm working on the carbs and trying to get the idle passage in the bottom of the float bowls cleaned, I may try using liquid dranno poured into the small orifice, tried every thing else! Then if I get those cleaned, reassemble and next week try to fire the bike up, wooooeeee!

Be careful with Drano, it's not kind to Aluminum. Thanks for the compliments, guys. They are appreciated.

What I really want to do is get together with some of you at a rally ASAP, but there's nothing all that close to NYC. It's tough to get the time off to make an extended trip like BC or WV.

I guess I'll have to either make the time or make the rally, right?

Bruce... I just did a card rebuild and found the same thing...
I used q-tips with carb cleaner and pipe cleaners.
you can use a drywall screw to get the Q-tip top out if it comes off the stick.
carb cleaner, q-tips, pipe cleaners, and wooden tooth picks and also air compressor..took me 30 min to get all 4 cleaned out... I didnt notice them the first time 2 times i had the carbs apart, several years ago
