      Ratish

      Nightengale,
I will definetly be taking a look at your build thread. I am currently looking for a winter project bike and think doing a ratish bobber is the ticket. I really like the distressed look and have already thought of ideas for my tank scheme haha

Great job, total classic. Reminds me a little of the Caddy Shack bike OCC built.

I love it. I just picked up a kawi kz650 I'm going to be turning into hard tail rat bike. You went the complete opposite from my XS1100. I did all top end paint and lots of pearl and a cafe racer.

make it yours, thats why i did the name on mine, since i used everyones initials the whole family got involved and they love it. i did alot of research and looked at alot of pictures of paint jobs on bikes and i combined the ones that i liked and made my own design. one of my next steps is to start to make the areas that get the most use look like the paint is comeing off and touches of rust here and there (faux of course). then when i am done is to cover the whole thing with a clear matte finish.

                  practice

this is what i practice the painting on for the bike. i did the letters and worked on how to make it look aged and hand painted, but use regular spray paint

i saw that on a helmet and liked it so i tryed it. and that is the result. i am going to do the same thing with the faded paint and rust spots.
