  • Spark plug wires

Where can I get replacement wires? One of the boots, where it connects to the plug, part of it is cracked on my xj.

Found 8mm accel spark plug wires, so disregard this thread, unless there are better ones?

Are you looking for the wires or the plug boots?

The wires are not easily replaceable on stock coils also, it takes some surgery to do it...

One of the boots are cracked, so I ordered the following:
        http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ls_o00_s00_i00

Didn't know it was an involved process to replace the wires, or I would have just ordered the boots. So I have cancelled the order then. Any recomendations on what I should do?

Here is what you have to do to replace the wires since the wires are molded into the OEM coils.

          http://www.xs11.com/forum/showthread.php?t=137

Some people have good luck doing this many others don't, it is kind of a crapshoot.

For the plug boots, if it is one of the inner 2 plugs you want NGK XB05F. Like this

For the outer 2 plugs I THINK (not sure of this one cause I can't find anything for the XS even on the NGK website for the 90 degree boot) you want NGK LB05F like this.

For the wires you will want to find a solid core wire, none of that fancy carbon or graphite core crap, it can't hold up to the vibrations and the way the wires just find of hang out there like they do on these bikes. Like this
